The Ebony Roots & Rhythm Dance Collective is a youth dance program designed to nurture artistry, identity, and community. We create a safe, affirming space where dancers of color can grow, shine, and build confidence through movement, culture, and technique.

We combine heritage, rhythm, and modern dance education to help dancers develop:

• Strong foundational technique

• Cultural awareness and pride

• Storytelling and musicality

• Discipline, teamwork, and self-expression

Annual Rhythm & Performance Flow
We offer two major performance experiences per year:

• Mid-Summer Showcase (June)

• Winter Season Performance (December)

Plus: monthly technique sessions, choreography labs, and cultural learning experiences.

We Serve

• Group 1: Ages 5–7

• Group 2: Ages 8–12

• Group 3: Ages 13–18

The Ebony Roots & Rhythm is a community donation funded nonprofit. There are no tuition or program fees. Families are responsible only for uniforms, costumes, and required dance shoes. All other program costs are supported through community contributions.
