Jamiah oversees the artistic vision, narrative direction, visual identity, branding, and documentation for The Ebony Roots & Rhythm Dance Collective. As the founder and board leader, she ensures high-quality presentation across all programs and leads the strategic direction of the organization.

Ardra Osbourne

Founder | Creative Director | Choreography & Technique Director | Hip Hop Artist

Ardra shapes the artistic and technical foundation of The Ebony Roots & Rhythm Dance Collective. As a founding member and board leader, she plays a key role in creative planning, programming, and cultural integrity. In the studio, she teaches hip hop, and technique with an emphasis on grounded movement, musicality, and expressive storytelling. Ardra sets high artistic standards, guides dancer development across age groups, and ensures that each class reflects excellence, culture, and heart.

Monique Hines

Monique supports instructors in the studio, engages directly with students, and helps maintain a positive, structured classroom environment. As a founding and board member, she also plays a key role in shaping the collective’s operations and community impact.

Courtney Anderson

Teaching Artist | Jazz, Modern, Contemporary & Ballet Focus

Courtney brings strong technical training across jazz, modern, and ballet. Her teaching style blends discipline, musicality, and expressive movement. She supports dancers in building clean technique, body awareness, emotional presence, and confidence across multiple styles. Courtney fosters an encouraging, structured environment where students can challenge themselves and grow as artists.

Taliah Dancil

Board Member | Treasurer | Finance & Youth Representation

Taliah contributes a youth-centered perspective to board discussions and supports financial awareness, budgeting insight, and strategic planning. As a young creative with firsthand experience in dance and the arts, she offers valuable guidance on how programs can best serve and inspire the dancers within the collective. Her voice helps ensure that decisions reflect both the practical needs and the lived experiences of the youth we aim to uplift.
